Family Portraits – Minneapolis Family Photographer with my family

Hey friends & family….   Many of you have mentioned to me as some point how my children and pets are probably used to getting their photos taken and it’s probably not to difficult to take their picture.  On the contrary, my family sometimes can be my hardest clients.  The biggest challenge is having all five of us together.  Another is  having all five of us want to be in the picture.  Lastly, having everyone listen and follow instructions during the session can also be difficult.  In this blog post, I will show you my final photo that I LOVE and the three photos that I blended together for my final photo.  I’ll also show you a few outtakes that completely missed the mark.

It was Thanksgiving Day and we just got home from church.  All I wanted for Thanksgiving was ONE photo of all of us together including our fur babies.  Well, not everyone was as excited as I was about the photo.  Especially, our dogs.  They didn’t think it was a good idea so our german shepherd mix decided to chase his tail and our other dog would just run away.  This made for a crazy hour of coaxing and a little yelling on my end at everyone.  I gave everyone a timeout including myself.  After a few minutes, we all came back together for this photo I will cherish forever.
